Maj. Russell stated the Army is conducting an administrative review to "assess the mission and verify compliance with regulations and airspace requirements." The review aims to determine whether any flight regulations were breached during the incident. "Army aviators must adhere to strict safety standards, professionalism, and established flight regulations," Russell emphasized, indicating that appropriate actions will be taken if any violations are found.

The videos, generating buzz online, feature the iconic country rock artist by his outdoor pool, expressing admiration as the helicopter looms overhead. Kid Rock, known legally as Robert Ritchie, captioned the post with a politically charged comment, critiquing the California governor and extolling U.S. military sacrifices. This gesture did not sit well with some, prompting a terse response from Izzy Gardon, spokesperson for California Governor Gavin Newsom, who described the incident as “Waste, fraud, abuse!”
